As more and more offices continue to close down, many people are being sent home to

work from home (WFH). For some, it may be a dream come true. For others, it might just be their worst nightmare. The good thing? Working from home is a privilege. However, there are some people who can't, so they put their life on the line every day; there's also those who are now unemployed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Just as a reminder: it's important to be grateful for what we do have, and make the best of it.
We, at Beurer, have some tips for you and your company to stay connected:
Check-in with your co-workers on a daily basis.
You'd be surprised how much an instant message could brighten up someone's day
Start the mornings off with a 15-minute team call
Take this time to make it more personal. It doesn't always have to be all business. Keep the environment light. After all, we're all human.
Host weekly office meetings
Get the whole office together on a Zoom call. Discuss any changes happening in the company, any milestones, and any personal stories that want to be shared.
Host a group lunch
Every so often, gather the entire team onto a video call and have everyone order their food at the same time. Enjoy a nice lunch together with some "chit-chat" and keep the company culture alive!

These are tips that can be used by everyone; both those who are working and those who are not. Social distancing is a great way to stop the spread of COVID-19, but it can also trigger feelings of loneliness, which is a serious health risk. Try to make contact with others. Call your loved ones, set up virtual lunch dates, check-in with your friends on a daily basis, and open up to people for help.
