HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN!

It's been a fearful year, but the spookiest day is almost here. Tomorrow, on October 31st, many of us celebrate the Celtic tradition. The ancient tradition began at the festival of Samhain, where Celts would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. They would also dress up and go from door-to-door, hence the modern act of "trick-or-treating". This day was originally known as All Hallows' Eve, which then became known as Halloween.

Remember to have fun and stay safe! While this can be an exciting day filled with scary movies, candy, and maybe even some gatherings, there is still a mysterious virus out there. Limit your contact with other people. Wear a face-covering - you can even make it as scary as you want! Participate in other events, such as a scary movie night, pumpkin carving, or virtual costume contest.
