Beauty Mode: ON

This summer has really been about focusing on self-care and perhaps trying some new beauty hacks at home. We've seen a shift between a full-face of makeup to a nice, cleansing routine. Although some love the art of applying make-up, some have truly enjoyed that natural glow. Now, how about getting your hair or nails done? Maybe your favorite salons are opening up again, and maybe you're too worried about going back, but a lot of people have a newfound passion for doing these things on their own in the comfort of their own home!

Is it possible we actually enjoy doing all things beauty from home now?

Pampering yourself is a great way to relax. Perhaps that's why, in times like these, people have steered towards taking more care of their skin and enjoying more time to give themselves some sort of "luxury". If you aren't able to travel or go on your monthly spa day, you should still be able to treat yourself to some "all about you" moments.

Have you ever heard "look good, feel good"? We definitely believe that feeling comfortable, powerful, and beautiful is something that should always be practiced. After all, everything you do, you do for YOU. Take care of your skin, hair, and body, and watch your mental health glow!

OUR TOP 5 BEAUTY HACKS:

  1. Get enough sleep - if you're having trouble sleeping, try using some essential oils, or maybe some white noise does the trick.

  2. Exfoliate two or three times/week - bringing healthier skin to the surface helps you reduce the appearance of acne scarring, wrinkles, sun spots, and more! Remember to exfoliate your body and your face.

  3. Microdermabrasion - microdermabrasion can also be done at-home and will save you loads of money. Keep your skin brighter and smoother!

  4. Keep your hands polished - although getting a manicure may not be possible right now, it's still nice to have clean, fresh hands. No color? No problem; just keep them nice and filed.

  5. Hair removal - being cooped up indoors can be a great time to try laser hair removal. You won't have to worry about shaving/waxing anymore.
